McCudden condemns robbery in Ballyclare

Alliance Newtownabbey Councillor Pat McCudden has condemned the robbery of a take away in Ballyclare on Thursday night by a man who threatened staff with a machete. The robber made off with a sum of money during the robbery which occurred at around 11pm on Thursday.

Cllr Pat McCudden said: “I would like to condemn this robbery in the strongest possible manner.

“I would like to expressmy support for the staff members who were threatened with a machete during this robbery. Nobody deserves to have to face this type of traumatic experience.

“If anybody has any information about this robbery then I would urge them to contact the police.”
