Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “This was an extremely cowardly attack that by mere chance alone did not kill someone. This sickening act demonstrates why there can be absolutely no complacency in the push for lasting peace. It illustrates why all our politicians must stand together to create a future free from prejudice and violence.
“These brutal hatemongers have nothing to offer. Death and carnage appears there only aim. The public must pass on any information on this incident to police so that these evil elements can be taken off our streets.”
