Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “I am appalled that these people continue to leave devices that could kill or injure. We have already seen in the past week three children getting caught up in a bomb in Lurgan, I pray that no more people are injured or worse in these attacks.
“The whole of Northern Ireland is opposed to this mindless campaign. Nobody wants violence on our streets and I would urge these dissidents to listen to the public who are calling for a stop to these bombs.
“If anybody has any information about this device then they should contact the police. We must do all that is possible to assist the police in apprehending these dissidents.”
