Chris Lyttle MLA said: “I was absolutely delighted to speak at this event as I believe it is vitally important that everyone should have access to learning and that lifelong learning is strongly promoted.
“The WEA’s Learning Age Project is a very important scheme and I want to praise its success in encouraging older people into learning opportunities.
“Lifelong learning and skills are extremely important areas not just for our economy but also for people, to help everyone reach their potential.
“I want to congratulate everyone who has taken part in or is involved in the Learning Age Project and I would encourage others to get involved with the wide range of opportunities that the WEA offers.”
