Alliance Education Spokesperson Chris Lyttle MLA has praised the hard work and dedication of students and teachers across NI as A-Level results are announced today.
Mr Lyttle, Chair of Stormont’s Education Committee, said the past few years have been “extremely challenging” on students and urged FE Colleges, Universities, apprenticeship providers and others to now play their part in helping young people make their next steps in learning and employment.
He added: “Today we celebrate the hard work and achievement of learners across NI , despite the extremely challenging environment of the past few years. Today needs to be about recognising that sacrifice, celebrating achievements of our students and ensuring they all have the tools to help them as they prepare for their next steps.
“There are many paths ahead and we celebrate the achievements of all our students. For anyone in need of additional help and support I would encourage them to contact CCEA on 028 9026 1220.”
