Trevor Lunn MLA said: “I am shocked that another life has been lost on our roads. I would like to pass on my condolences to his family. They are in my thoughts at this most difficult time for them.
“I would urge all road users to be wary of each other and ensure that everybody drives carefully.
“I know that the Department of the Environment has done some very good work to promote road safety but even one death on our roads is too many and shows that more must be done.”
