Last night the site was targeted for the third night in a row, damaging stone work and new doors fitted as part of the City of Culture celebrations.
Trevor Lunn MLA said: “I must condemn these blatant acts of vandalism. This is a great year for Londonderry as it celebrates its City of Culture status and it is disappointing that the perpetrators continue to create negative headlines during this time.
“This vandalism simple has to stop and is not representative of the whole community. Those behind these attacks must be dealt with before the courts and I would urge anyone with information to come forward immediately.”
