Long appalled after four men hit by car

Alliance East Belfast MP Naomi Long has expressed her shock after four men were seriously injured when they were hit by a car on the Lower Newtownards Road in the early hours of Monday morning. The car was later found after it had been set on fire.

Naomi Long MP said: “This is shocking and appalling crime. One of these men could have been killed. The person driving this car has clearly no thought for the lives of others.

“I hope that the four men injured will be able to make a swift and full recovery.

“If anybody has any information about this incident then they must contact the police.”
