Lo calls for full investigation into Belfast city centre fire

Alliance South Belfast Anna Lo MLA has urged officials to make sure that there is a full investigation into the fire that happened at Dempsey’s pub in Belfast city centre overnight. Over forty firefighters tackled the blaze the cause of which is under investigation.

The South Belfast MLA said: “I would like to see a full investigation into this fire to establish a detailed analysis of the cause of it.

“The fact that over forty firefighters were deployed to tackle the blaze illustrates its severity. Incidents such as this do nothing but harm our local economy.

“I would urge anybody with any information about the fire to contact the relevant authorities so that we can establish the circumstances surrounding the fire
