Lo appalled by spate of arson attacks in South Belfast

Alliance South Belfast MLA, Anna Lo, has condemned those responsible for a series of arson attacks in which six cars were damaged in the Holylands area over the weekend.

Anna Lo MLA said: “I am shocked by these mindless acts of vandalism. The people who set fire to these cars have no regard for the consequences of their actions and no respect for the local community.

“Somebody could have been seriously injured by these fires. I would urge anybody with any information about these arson attacks to contact the Police.

“This was just wanton violence. The owners of these cars will now have to make alternative transport arrangements.”
