Alliance Councillor Michelle Guy has said she is shocked at the murder of a 60-year-old woman in South Belfast.
The attack took place in the Windermere Road on Sunday evening.
She added: “I’m shocked and saddened to hear that an incident like this has happened in our area – it has shocked the entire community.
“My thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim and I urge anyone with information to come forward immediately.”
