Officials have stated under the rules of the scheme, it cannot provide names of claimants, although location, technology type, installation capacity, accreditation date and subsidy can be provided.
“We are disappointed by the approach taken by the Department for the Economy, which is at odds with previously stated position of its Minister that recipients’ details should be published,” said Dr Farry.
“It is overwhelmingly in the public interest to release the full list of non-domestic claimants and any associated details as soon as possible.
“It is also vital the Secretary of State immediately implements the legislation revealing donors to local political parties, so we can once and for all end the secrecy around financial contributions and ensure other parties follow Alliance’s lead in being open and accountable to the public.”
