Stewart Dickson MLA said: “Peter Robinson is fuelling tensions with these outrageous comments. He is trying to enforce an attitude of them and us by trying to show that we should be comparing and contrasting the treatment of different groups by the police.
“We should be moving away from this type of politics where politicians only wish to represent their section of the community.
“What Peter Robinson is seeking is political interference in policing and the courts which is getting into very dangerous territory. Politicians should not be telling the Chief Constable or a Judge how the PSNI or courts should be operating.”
