Dickson says Newry pipe bomb could have killed somebody

Alliance Justice spokesperson, Stewart Dickson MLA, has condemned those responsible for a pipe bomb which exploded outside a house on Patrician Park in Newry on Wednesday night at 9:20pm. No-one was hurt but damage was caused to a house and car.

Stewart Dickson MLA said: “Somebody could have been killed in this attack.

“The people responsible have no regards for the consequences of their actions. There is no place for violence on our streets. We should be thankful that nobody was hurt in this attack.

“If anybody has any information about this pipe bomb attack then I would urge them to contact the Police.”
