Stewart Dickson MLA said: “I would like to take this opportunity to praise the excellent work of the Police in responding to this report of gun fire. They continue to serve on behalf of the whole our society, often in dangerous circumstances.
“The Police work hard for community safety and everybody should support the magnificent job they do.
“If anybody has any information about this incident then they must contact the police.”
