Work on the North Road in Carrickfergus will commence in May and is predicted to continue until the end of August. It will stretch from the B90 and continue down to Northlands/Prince Andrew Way.
“Station Road, Greenisland is due to be closed for anywhere between five and 10 weeks. Residents and businesses are to be alerted by NI Water soon, as the works are to be started by the end of February,” said Mr Dickson.
“The road will be closed in sections and there will be residential access, but the works will cause major disruptions during the weekdays for people attending work and school as well as local businesses.
“I have great concern about these works as notification has been extremely short notice and I fear the works are going to cause problems in the community.”
