Dickson calls for those behind bomb blasts to stop their campaign of terrorism

Alliance Justice Spokesperson Stewart Dickson MLA has called on those behind two bomb blasts in Derry to stop their campaign of terrorism. No one was injured in the bomb blasts which happened on the Strand Road and Foyle Street on Thursday night.

Stewart Dickson MLA said: “This campaign of terrorism must stop now. The public are completely opposed to violence on our streets. They want to get on with their normal lives without the threat of bombs and guns.

“The people responsible for these bomb blasts are doing harm to the city which has a real opportunity to increase its tourism and investment potential with the City of Culture status.

“I would urge anybody with any information about these bombs to contact the police.”
