The primary aim of tomorrow’s meeting is to hear from those at the heart of the Northern Ireland economy in order to identify tangible objectives for the All Party Group future meetings. It will take place tomorrow between 12:30 and 2pm at the Glass House beside Stormont Castle.
Mr Gordon Gough, Chief Executive of Enterprise NI will open the meeting by providing an overview of the current economic context in which SMEs operate. Following this, Mr Brad Sugars, internationally renowned entrepreneur, author and public speaker will facilitate roundtable discussions and feedback on the key issues which have arisen, as well as address ideas for moving forward.
Judith Cochrane MLA said: “With small and medium sized enterprises making up the majority of our private sector, more must be done to support them to grow and prosper
“In talking to individual business owners it was clear that there is a need for better interaction between the private sector and those MLAs who have a keen interest and understanding of commercial matters.
“There has already been great interest in the potential of this All Party Group, and the calibre and variety of the business representatives confirmed to attend will no doubt ensure a productive first meeting.”
