Cochrane shocked at assault by three masked men in East Belfast

Alliance East Belfast MLA Judith Cochrane has condemned those responsible for an assault on a man in his flat in Kinross Avenue in Tullycarnet in East Belfast on Friday night. Three masked men entered the flat where they assaulted the victim and caused damage to the flat.

Judith Cochrane MLA said: “I was shocked by the brutality of this incident. The local community does not want this type of violence on our streets.

“There is no justification for carrying out such a crime. Those responsible have no regards for the well-being of other people.

“If anybody has any information about this incident then I would urge them to contact the police.”
