Cochrane: Lives could have been lost in East Belfast stabbing

Alliance East Belfast MLA, Judith Cochrane, has condemned a stabbing which took place in the early hours of Sunday morning on Templemore Avenue in East Belfast. A broken bottle was used to stab a man and a woman.

Judith Cochrane MLA said: “Lives could have been lost in this stabbing. The perpetrators are clearly very dangerous individuals. There can be no justification for this attack

“My thoughts are with the two victims following what must have been a horrific attack. I hope they will be able to make a full recovery from the injuries they sustained.

“Those responsible for this stabbing have no regards for the lives of other people. If anybody has any information about this attack the I would urge them to contact the Police.”
