Alliance seeks meeting with DSD Minister on Red Sky workers

East Belfast Alliance MLA Chris Lyttle has sought an urgent meeting with DSD Minister Nelson McCausland over the suspension of the contract for Red Sky to carry out work on Housing Executive properties.

East Belfast Alliance MLA, Chris Lyttle said: “We have written to the Minister for Social Development on a number of occasions and requested an urgent meeting with him, a number of days ago, on behalf of workers who have at no point received sufficient information on this matter.

“I hope it will be possible to meet with the Minister as soon as possible to progress this situation.”
