Bradshaw says sectarian incident a ‘despicable attack’

Alliance South Belfast MLA Paula Bradshaw has said an incident in which the windows of a car were smashed in a hate crime was a despicable attack.

The windows of the vehicle parked on Ravenhill Avenue were broken just before 3am today (Sunday). Police have confirmed they are treated the incident as sectarian-motivated.

“This was a despicable attack,” said Ms Bradshaw.

“People who engage in sectarian hate crime of any kind succeed only in bringing shame unto themselves.

“I would urge anyone who saw anything associated with this to contact the police urgently. There can be no place in the community for this kind of behaviour.”
