Alliance Party Justice spokesperson Stewart Dickson MLA has said threats of violence must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. He was speaking after graffiti appeared on a wall in West Belfast referring to the PSNI Chief Constable, Simon Byrne.
Stewart Dickson said: “Whoever painted this threat on to a wall in West Belfast certainly does not speak for the people of that area, or any other part of Northern Ireland and must be condemned. Threatening violence on anyone is totally unacceptable, but it is particularly repulsive when children are threatened. We must stand together to protect our children and ensure they never have to see a return to the dark days.”
