Chris Lyttle MLA said: “Having encouraged people to vote for Harding Memorial to receive a grant from UTV’s People’s Millions and the Big Lottery Fund, it was great to see the playground being officially opened.
“There was such enthusiasm and support among the staff, parents and pupils for the plans for a new playground, so it was great to see them get the funding they needed.
“It is very important that the pupils have a fit for purpose playground to help them stay active and get fresh air. It was great to see how excited they were with their new playground and I would like to thank everybody who voted for them.”
