Cllr John Blair: “Those responsible for this letter bomb have no regards for the consequences of their actions. These people are offering nothing to our society except death, injury and disruption.
“I would like to pay tribute to the vigilance of the sorting office staff who raised the alarm. Their actions may have saved a life.
“If anybody has any information about this letter bomb then I would urge them to contact the Police. Those responsible for this device must be taken off our streets and face justice in the courts.”
