This pilot programme for 20 students has been designed by the Department for Employment and Learning, Deloitte and Belfast Metropolitan College under the Assured Skills initiative.
Chris Lyttle MLA said: “The Employment and Learning Minister has identified the ICT sector as a key growth area for our economy. A workforce with the required ICT skills and experience can make Northern Ireland an attractive place for these companies to invest it.
“With initiatives like this by Deloitte we can work to match the skills of graduates with what employers require.
“It also shows what can be done through closer co-operation between our further education colleges and the private sector.
