Lawther condemns threat made against delivery man in Antrim

Alliance Antrim Councillor Alan Lawther has condemned the threat made against a Domino’s pizza delivery man when he drove into the Craighill Estate in Antrim at about 03:20 this morning. A man in a balaclava told the delivery man to leave the area.

Cllr Alan Lawther said: “There can be no justification for issuing this threat to this delivery man. I would condemn it in the strongest possible way.

“Everybody is entitled to travel along public roads free from fear or intimidation.

“I would like to offer my full support to the delivery driver who has had to endure this frightening incident.

“If anybody has any information about this threat then I would urge them to contact the police.”
