The two day event – taking place today, Saturday, September 8, and Sunday, September 9 – allows the general public free entry to over 300 properties and events across the country.
Anna Lo MLA said: “I would encourage everyone across Northern Ireland to take advantage of the fantastic free events on offer this weekend.
“As we move towards a shared future for all, heritage days allow us to celebrate and embrace our cultural history, keeping one eye on the past while planning for the future.
“So take the opportunity this weekend to visit somewhere different and enjoy beautiful properties and fun events, including some that are not always available to the general public.”
