Cochrane says Dundonald arson attack could have killed somebody

Alliance East Belfast MLA Judith Cochrane has stated that an arson attack on a house in Dundonald could have killed the occupant. A fire was started at the back of the property on Claggan Gardens on Saturday and then spread to the rest of the house. A man was inside at the time but was unhurt.

Judith Cochrane MLA said: “We are extremely lucky that nobody was hurt in this arson attack. Somebody could have easily been killed.

“What could possess a person to start such a dangerous fire and put lives at risk?

“If anybody has any information about yhis arson attack then I would urge them to contact the police.”
