Speaking further to a gathering of guests from the worlds of economics, commerce and politics to celebrate the silver jubilee of the FSB Lyttle said:
“Small businesses remain the engine of the local economy and support for this sector must be a priority measure in any forthcoming programme for government if we are serious about rebuilding and rebalancing our economy.
“Small business is the bedrock of our economy and it is vital for government to coordinate cross-departmental investment to provide our society with the education system, skills provision and job creation needed to help grow our economy.”
