Campbell shocked at arson attack that resulted in injury to a baby

Alliance Newtownabbey Councillor Tom Campbell has expressed his shock at an arson attack on a house on Glenville Park in Newtownabbey on Wednesday which caused injury to a 3 month old baby. A man has been arrested in connection with the arson attack.

Cllr Tom Campbell said: “I am absolutely disgusted that those behind this arson attack put the lives of this house’s occupants at risk which included a 3 month old baby. This was a shocking and despicable crime carried out by callous and sick individuals.

“I hope this young baby will make a full recovery from any injuries sustained.

“I would urge anybody with any information about this arson attack to contact the police.”
