Lo condemns Shankill murder

Alliance South Belfast MLA Anna Lo has condemned those behind the murder of a man on the Shankill Road on Friday afternoon. The man was shot by two masked gunmen on the street, he was taken to hospital but later died.

Anna Lo said: “I am completely appalled at this murder. The fact that it was a callous and cold blooded gun attack in broad daylight amongst shoppers has sent shockwaves through the community.

“These gunmen must be apprehended by the police and taken off the street as soon as possible. I would therefore urge anybody with any information about this murder to contact the police.”
