The Ulster Unionists, SDLP, DUP and Alliance Party met again at Stormont today for talks on the post-primary transfer issue, and they released this statement:

“This was another productive meeting. Every meeting sees us finding more common ground and building further consensus on the transfer issue.

“We are encouraged by the progress we have made and by the co-operation and constructive work from each party involved.

“This is a massive issue for children, parents and teachers and that is why we are working to build long-term and sustainable solutions to this problem. The group will be meeting again next week.”
