Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “It is staggering that a horrific event like this can happen on our roads. This is the type of thing that you only expect to see in films.
“What sort of people would attempt to ram another person’s car off the road?
“This must have been an extremely traumatic experience for the two women subjected to this.
“I want to wish the two women a speedy recovery and I want to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact police immediately.”
