Nortel news is worrying – Neeson

Alliance Enterprise Spokesperson Séan Neeson MLA has commented following news that Nortel has filed for bankruptcy protection. The company’s Northern Ireland base is in Monkstown in East Antrim.

The East Antrim MLA said: “I am very concerned about the news from Canada on Nortel. The company provides a large number of high quality, highly paid jobs in the East Antrim area and my main concern is the welfare and future of employees at the Monkstown site.”
