Alliance MLA Stewart Dickson has welcomed news that the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector will benefit from £16 million from dormant bank and building society accounts.
Stewart Dickson said: “As chair of the Assembly All Party Group on Social Enterprise I welcome the news that £16 million is to be released from dormant accounts to benefit the third sector. This has come about as a result of all parties working together to agree on the best use of these resources.
“It is now over to the voluntary, community and social enterprises sector to come up with plans to ensure this money is spent to ensure maximum benefit for our community.
